Sadly, in-line with new Government guidelines, Friday 25th December will be the last day that we can open.
National Lockdown
In line with Government Guidance for a National Lockdown
It is with great sadness, that in full compliance with Government legistion to reduce the spread of Covid-19, we will be closed from (and including) Saturday 26th December. We will remain closed until we hear otherwise. The Government is reviewing the situation every 2 weeks.
Since re-opening in July we have complied with all Government trading guidelines and as a result have provided a safe environment for both our staff and customers. Rest assured that when we are allowed to re-open that we will continue to ensure that The Walhampton Arms remains a safe environment for all of us. We will continue with our rigorous cleaning regimes, we will continue to observe hand washing protocols, we will continue to use table ordering and/or our online ordering system, we will continue to take payment by card whenever possible, we will continue to provide table service only, we will continue to take contact details for track and trace and we will continue to use solid screens to protect customers and to separate tables.
We look forward to welcoming you back soon. Your continued support means so much to us!
Thank you and stay safe.
The team at The Walhampton

Location
The Walhampton Arms is located in the historic New Forest National park and just a couple of minute’s drive, or a short cycle into the historic Georgian market town of Lymington, making it a great destination for locals or tourists alike.
With it’s numerous attractions such as Beaulieu’s National Motor Museum, Exbury Gardens and the forest’s seemingly endless miles of tracks and nature trails inhabited by an array of wildlife……it’s perfect for cyclists or ramblers alike.
Of course, the Forest is famous for it’s wild, roaming ponies and picture postcard villages too. The Isle of Wight ferry is on our doorstep, handy if you’re taking a trip across to the ‘island’ and in need for refreshment!
The Walhampton Arms are members of Go New Forest
Set in over 219 sq. miles of woodland and heathland, the New Forest dates back to 1079 when the then King of England, William the Conqueror, designated the area as his personal hunting grounds. Today, it’s one of the most beautiful places to escape to for a few days.
