COMBINING TRADITIONAL PUB CLASSICS
WITH GREAT BEER AND FINE WINES.

Lovingly prepared and served with the warmest of
welcomes from the heart of the New Forest.

Welcome to the Walhampton Arms

We believe that the simple things are often the best. That good times are spent with friends and family, sat around the table enjoying great food and drink. That everyone receives the warmest of welcomes and is made to feel special.

Set in the stunning New Forest, the Walhampton Arms is just a few minutes from the bustling Georgian market town of Lymington with views of the Isle of Wight across the Solent. It’s the perfect location to relax and explore.

Dining & Drinking

Our new menu combines traditional pub classics with modern, more contemporary dishes offering something for everyone. Whether you’re dining from our main menu, our weekly specials board, or the famous Walhampton Arms carvery on Sundays or Mondays, you can expect fresh, home-cooked food, lovingly prepared.

Whether it’s a light bite, something to share with friends over a couple of drinks or you’re planning a celebration for someone special then the Walhampton Arms is the place to visit.

With food served from 12noon each day, we also have a range of vegetarian, vegan and of course dishes to keep children happy.

We offer a wider range of menu options. From canapes, cold meats or freshly cut sandwiches to our homemade lasagne, curry’s or hand-carved roasted joints of meat, all set at a price-per-head that fits with any budget. If there’s something special you’d like? Then just let us know and our chefs will do everything the can to help.

Location

The Walhampton Arms is located in the historic New Forest National park and just a couple of minute’s drive, or a short cycle into the historic Georgian market town of Lymington, making it a great destination for locals or tourists alike.

With it’s numerous attractions such as Beaulieu’s National Motor Museum, Exbury Gardens and the forest’s seemingly endless miles of tracks and nature trails inhabited by an array of wildlife……it’s perfect for cyclists or ramblers alike.

Of course, the Forest is famous for it’s wild, roaming ponies and picture postcard villages too. The Isle of Wight ferry is on our doorstep, handy if you’re taking a trip across to the ‘island’ and in need for refreshment!

The Walhampton Arms are members of Go New Forest

Set in over 219 sq. miles of woodland and heathland, the New Forest dates back to 1079 when the then King of England, William the Conqueror, designated the area as his personal hunting grounds. Today, it’s one of the most beautiful places to escape to for a few days.

In the near future, we are planning to create a number of B&B rooms within our pub grounds, but there are a number of places to rest your head, or for those wishing to get back to nature there are several campsites within a couple of miles reach.

What’s On, News & Offers

It’s not just great food, drink and a warm welcome here at the Walhampton Arms, we also have a busy summer of events and entertainment coming up. With themed food nights and our regular ‘first Friday of the month’ music quiz night, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
